My eyelet mesh spring top pt1 – casting on

I was about to go out for my brisk walking, then started to rain….

So I am spending a few minutes to update my blog.

My husband and I went to Carrefour yesterday and purchased few months worth of household essentials, canned foods, pasta, rice etc…

This way, it will save our day to day time in next few months.

And we had light lunch at the café bar in Carrefour, how convenient is that.

My knitting project

I am thinking to knit a simple spring top using eyelet mesh stitches. I want the back of my neck part to be about 18cm long, and the each shoulder parts width to be about 14cm.

So I have casted on 72 stitches in total, 28 stitches at the back of my neck, and 21 stitches each for my shoulder width, and 1 stitch each to start the front part.

I am going to create my own custom-made pattern as I knit, it’s an exciting process.

Any positive suggestions, comments are always welcome and appreciated.

What kind of creative projects are you working on?

I would love to improve knitting and crocheting skills together with you.

    • Thank you, Leah. I too, like to wear deep V neck pullover and my navy blue one would be the V neck one. Let’s see what will happen to this spring top as I am creating my own pattern as I knit 🙂

    • Thank you. It’s so much fun to create own pattern isn’t it. I look forward seeing your shawl. I am about to start creating my knit with fingering yarn as well, something to look forward to.
